Clothes Closet Volunteers
RRISD Council of PTAs supports a Clothes Closet for Students in need in RRISD. They need our help running the store and are asking for families to volunteer for a 2 hour shift:
Tuesdays 10:00-12:00 or
First Wednesday of every month 5:00-7:00 PM

Next General Meeting
Our next general PTA meeting will be prior to our annual Griz Giving event which is quickly approaching on Thursday November 12th. Our meeting will start promptly at 4:30 PM in the Library and then we will all move to Griz Giving preparation. If you’re new to Grisham this year plan to attend both of the above events where we feed and fellowship within our community. More to come on Griz Giving.

To be eligible to volunteer on Grisham Campus all volunteers need to fill out the above form. It must be completed NEW every year.

Announcements
The RRISD VATRE was approved at the RRISD PTA Meeting on 9/23/2026. 38 out of 55 RRISD schools were present at the meeting with all present voting for the VATRE- no votes against were recorded. This will be added to the November ballot - be prepared to VOTE!
H-E-B offers an Excellence in Education program Award which included cash grants to finalists, winners, and their schools. You can nominate a staff member HERE.
